Class Description: Double Knitting

The wonderful technique of double knitting creates a two-layers fabric with knit stitches on both sides. The finished fabric is completely reversible, lending itself to colorwork, contrasting fibers, or simply a knit-faced fabric that is twice as warm.
In this class, you will learn the mechanics of Double Knitting colorwork, how it can be applied to many different types of projects.You will understand how cast on in pattern, read charts, and create proper salvage edges.We will construct a two-color pot holder in class.
Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate Knitter – skilled in knit/purl, basic understanding of colorwork and have completed several projects prior to class.
