Description: Let’s Get Comfortable with Knitting Math
This class is designed to give you the math tools to modify and understand your knitting
project. From gauges, yarn substitutions and simple formulas you can use when
needed.
We will delve into the simple math to apply to various knitting projects. This will help
you in understanding how to work through quirks in your knitting, to modifying a pattern
to fit your style and making you a better more confident knitter.
Skill Level: Advanced Beginner – Comfortable in knit and purl have completed a few
projects.
Material: Notebook/pen, gauge swatch and a pattern you want to make simple changes
to.
Homework: Bring a gauge swatch for an actual project you are planning to make and
the pattern the swatch will be used for.
