Mosaic Class – Learn another way to colorwork

This class will move you through another fun way to do colorwork.  Enjoy this unique way to use two strands of colored yarn while only knitting with one color at a time.  We have selected this striking shawl to teach this class using a wonderful alpaca/silk blended yarn that you will want to hug your neck.  You will learn how to read mosaic charts, how to work through the mosaic knitting style, how to fix mistakes and adding a special finishing touch of tassels.

Pattern Used: Lunae from Natasja Hornby

Skill Level: Advanced beginner Knitter – comfortable with knitting, purling, increase, decrease have completed several projects prior to class.

Materials needed: MC 550y with tassels, Contrast Color 1 385y and Contrast Color 2 470y, US 5 needle on a 32” cable, stitch markers, tapestry needle and a small tassel maker.
